This six part course will prepare individuals, therapists, physicians, cd counselors, educators, business coaches, and paraprofessionals to distinquish between healthy and unhealthy relationships in all settings and to recognize that getting to healthy love is an inside job. It will enhance professional skills in working with individual clients, couples, and groups. It will introduce paraprofessionals to ways they can coach or teach teens or adults on a grass roots level. It will emphasize personality development, personality types, types of transactions, life scripts, healthy boundaries, emotional intelligence, and how this relates to recovery from codependency, love addiction, romance addiction, sex addiction and trauma. Six Graduate Credits pending.
This course will meet for 6 weekends and will meet at the Healthy Relationship offices in Eden Prairie, MN except for 1 weekend will be held at Dr. Schaeffer's retreat near Spooner, WI. Class meets Friday evening, all day Saturday and breaks later afternoon on Sunday.
